Just a quickie- leaving Lucca, off to race

I am just putting up a quite post to say that I am off to San Marino for our final race before heading back home on the 7th. I have been offline for a bit since I have been cranking away on my thesis stuff- working on my talk. It is going well and I am excited with how it is working- at least so far!

Nothing too exciting to report- we have been riding around here, and it is, of course, spectacular! I love it here. It is going to be hard to get back into race mode tomorrow. It feels AGES away. We start with a 4k prologue and then two hilly stages. It will be a hard weekend for me- for sure! And I am still building back after getting so thrashed at Fleche. So, just getting back in the saddle and making it hurt. Sounds fun!

I won’t have internet access until I get back here on Sunday night. Or, at least, we are not planning on it. Hotels in Italy are not exactly bastions of the internet super highway...

So, until then... bye!
